AS the clock strikes midnight Lady V raises a goblet to her lips and takes several hearty gulps.

Finally her thirst is quenched - thanks to the warm human BLOOD she has just downed.

By day Suzie Park is a married volunteer who helps disabled kids learn to read, bake cakes and sing songs.

What's this?
Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

In fact, being a vampire isn't as strange as you think. There are loads of us out there in the UK, especially in the bigger cities.

Obnoxiously true. All the darkwave sissies need to stop coming out in public (except the Victorians and Romantics, 'cuz I like their outfits).

Agreed, but it depends on whose vampire tale you are buying into. The new twilight vampires are "day walkers". lol.

Dear JalJones,

Their being "Day-Walkers" IS an interesting new twist in the 'Vampire' Lore. In Sunlight, they glitter like jewels. They also come, like the rest of us, in all varieties of "Moral Persuasion" or lack, thereof.

Fresh Is Always Better Than "Warmed-Over",

'DeX'

Fresh Is Always Better Than "Warmed-Over",

No, it isn't. There is nothing refreshing about reducing one of horror's most frightening monsters to emo glitter-sisses.

Not cool.

My kiddos begged me to read it, and I really got into it. It was a pretty good series. LOL So, I totally admit it.

Cool. At least she isn't stalking the alleyways and stealing blood from some poor, unsuspecting victim. LOL

"To each his own" in this case. I don't see where it is hurting anyone else.
