Oxbridge offers iTunes lectures in a bid to make it more accessible to people across the world

Coldplay and Amy Winehouse have long been iTunes favourites, but they are facing competition from unlikely rivals.

Oxford and Cambridge universities today launch a service that allows lectures, videos and podcasts to be downloaded from the iTunes website.

The move is intended to make the elite institutions more accessible to people across the world.
