A nine-year-old girl who was crushed by a wall which collapsed when a gas explosion blew apart a house earlier today has been named as Stephanie Hammacott.

An end-terrace house in Bulteel Gardens, close to Kinnaird Crescent in Southway exploded into flames sending debris eight metres across the road at around 7.50am today, injuring at least five people and killing Stephanie Hammacott as she was on her way to school.
