Juventus were given the Serie B Scudetto trophy today, but lost their last Serie B game 2-3 to Spezia. It was also the first time ever that they'd lost a Serie B game at their own ground. Juventus are joined in the top flight next season by Napoli and Genoa who played out a 0-0 draw that meant that owing to Piacenza's 1-1 draw at home to Triestina there would be no need for playoffs.
